BtSearch allows two methods of repairing files. One it will allow you to use the Pervasvie Btrieve Step operations which is the best method.

If however, the above does not work then you can try to repair the file using the second method which bypasses the Btrieve drivers and reads the file header and individual pages to try to pull valid data out and then place it in a new file.
